Playing without an account
You do not need an account to play or print. Puzzle progress, found words, and elapsed play time can be stored in your browser's local storage. This is device-local information, not a cross-device profile. Saved puzzle progress expires thirty days after your last visit to that puzzle. The Start again control clears its progress, and clearing this site's browser data removes all saved puzzle data. Browsers that block storage can still play without saving.
Optional analytics and cookies
Optional Google Analytics is configured for this site. Its script loads only after you allow analytics, and you can change that preference below. It may use cookies to measure sessions, page views, and puzzle events. When analytics is enabled and you allow it, events can include puzzle starts, completions, next-puzzle choices, browser-print actions, answer views, and PDF download clicks. It does not send a list of your selected letters as a personal profile. If analytics is enabled, your choice is saved in local storage until you change it or clear site data.
Third-party advertising
Advertising is not enabled in the current version. If Google AdSense or another advertising provider is introduced, this policy will be updated before activation. Third-party advertising may involve cookies, device information, and personalization, subject to your region and consent choices. An appropriate consent mechanism will be required before activating ads where applicable. We do not use interstitial or automatic full-screen advertising.
Hosting and operational information
The hosting provider may process technical information, such as IP addresses, request details, and security logs, to deliver and protect the website. The production hosting plan is Cloudflare. Those provider operations are distinct from the puzzle progress saved on your device. We do not sell your puzzle progress or require payment information.
Contact messages and your choices
When you email us, your address and the information you choose to include are used to handle that conversation. Avoid sending sensitive personal information in a puzzle report. You can ask about privacy or request removal of information you have sent by contacting hello@wordsearchclub.com. Browser settings can control cookies and site storage. Puzzles are offered as general recreational content, and no account-based personal information is requested from children.
