Fourteen things in a reading corner
This 15 by 15 puzzle collects 14 words associated with books and a home reading space. The large-print letters, visible list, and forward across-and-down paths make it a calm choice for book lovers or a shared reading-group break. Some targets name kinds of reading material, others describe the people and objects around it. No author names or book-title knowledge are needed.
Put a puzzle beside your book
Save the Letter or A4 puzzle PDF and print the version for your paper size. A clean sheet includes the complete target list and the same fixed letter grid as the website. The answer PDF can be downloaded separately and tucked away until checking time. A bookmark makes a useful place to stop when you return to reading.
Permission for reading groups and classes
Personal and classroom copies are free, including batch printing by teachers. Keep the source address on distributed sheets. Ask participants to name a favorite kind of reading after finding a word, without requiring them to disclose reading difficulties or finish at the same speed. Leave time afterward to recommend a book or describe a reading corner everyone would enjoy.
Keep turning the pages
Use the four related activities for another cultural or everyday subject. Classic Cinema swaps reading-room vocabulary for familiar film titles, while Cozy Hobbies stays close to a quiet afternoon. Hard topics are available if you want a hidden target list later. The next-puzzle link offers another real edition, with progress kept separately for each grid.
