Keep your flow

A little more to discover.

From a warm drink to a decorated bake

COCOA and EGGNOG are drinks, COOKIE and FUDGE are treats, and ICING and CINNAMON belong in the preparation or finishing of many bakes. This fourteen-word list follows a Christmas kitchen rather than a single recipe. It does not prescribe a menu or make claims about dietary suitability. Use a found word as an invitation to name a favourite flavour or a food your household prepares differently.

Long names leave useful patterns

The visible list includes CANDY CANE as two words, but its letters run together in the grid. GINGERBREAD and PEPPERMINT make longer patterns to look for in the fourteen rows and columns. All placements run forward across or down; none are diagonal or backward. Read the highlighted letters from beginning to end before releasing your selection.

Print before the baking starts

Choose US Letter or A4 and download the puzzle sheet with its complete word list. The answer sheet is a separate PDF, useful for checking a longer spelling without marking everyone else's copy. Print at actual size and keep the sheet away from a wet or flour-covered work surface. This is a word activity to enjoy alongside preparations, not a set of cooking instructions.

Continue with festive words or everyday baking

Choose Christmas for decorations and familiar festive words, or Christmas Traditions for a Hard challenge. Baking Day provides a year-round baking subject with another distinct word list. Free personal and classroom printing is allowed; share the original page for the matching paper sizes and answer file rather than presenting a changed grid as this edition.
