Keep your flow
One more good puzzle.
A little more to discover.
Tools, materials and a few useful sewing words
A sewing basket might hold thread and buttons beside tools for measuring, cutting and stitching. This puzzle mixes objects with familiar construction words such as seam and hem. It is an invitation to recall a repaired shirt or a handmade gift, rather than a set of sewing instructions. No practical sewing knowledge is needed to play.
Follow a straight line through the basket
Fourteen words run forward across or down the 14 × 14 board. Keep the visible list beside you and start with a spelling that stands out, such as THIMBLE or SCISSORS. Longer words still follow one straight path without turning. Selecting the endpoints by keyboard or tapping is available as well as dragging through the letters.
Share a craft memory
At a craft group, solve first and then ask which item people use most often. A beginner might recognize BUTTON before BOBBIN, while an experienced sewer may notice STITCH immediately. The puzzle is not scored on craft expertise. Cozy Hobbies offers another creative subject, and Home Library provides a quieter change of theme.
Make a clear handout
The Letter and A4 puzzle PDFs include the word list underneath the fixed board. Answers are supplied as separate files so the handout stays unsolved. You may print copies for personal use or a teacher-led class without a fee. Check the paper-size setting in your PDF viewer, especially when printing several copies together.
