Find 24 cloud names and observing words in a Hard 22 × 22 word search. Hidden online targets, eight directions, Letter/A4 PDFs and separate answers.

Keep your flow
One more good puzzle.
A little more to discover.
Read the sky in layers
This search combines the ten main cloud genera with words for shapes, arrangements and sky cover. A wisp, a veil and a bank describe what an observer might notice; they are not additional genera. CONTRAIL is included as an aircraft-related feature, rather than a natural cloud genus. Use the distinctions to organize the vocabulary after solving.
Use the long names as anchors
The 22 × 22 board hides twenty-four preset targets in all eight directions, without an online list. Several names share CUMULUS or STRATUS, so a promising fragment may belong to a longer target. Select a complete word from its first letter to its last; a recognized shorter target and a longer one count separately.
Compare a chart after the search
Use an illustrated cloud chart to compare high, middle and low cloud forms, rather than trying to identify clouds from a word puzzle alone. The National Weather Service chart is one starting point. Meteorology offers a broader weather vocabulary for a second activity; this page concentrates on what cloud names and descriptions have in common.
Keep the paper list nearby
The Letter and A4 puzzle PDFs include the full twenty-four-word list. Print the matching answer separately if you want to keep the first attempt independent. Set the viewer to the selected paper size and actual size, then check one sheet before printing a group set. The online and paper boards use the same frozen letters.
