One more good puzzle.
A little more to discover.
Find the language behind the numbers
There are no calculations to finish here. Instead, 24 mathematical words sit inside a 22 by 22 grid, with the target list hidden during online play. This hard edition suits adults and students who enjoy the language of algebra and geometry. Terms can run backward or diagonally, so a familiar word may be much less recognizable than it is in a textbook heading.
A paper break from calculations
Download the puzzle PDF for Letter or A4 and open the saved file before printing. The printed list reveals the full vocabulary set, making the sheet a guided search between other activities. A separate answer PDF marks the same frozen paths. Choose a clean puzzle copy first if you plan to circle words with a pencil.
Classroom printing and conversation
Free personal and classroom use includes permission for teachers to print a full class set. After searching, learners can choose a term they know and explain it in their own words, or mark a term they would like to revisit. Give everyone time to compare examples after the search, and let unfamiliar vocabulary become the starting point for a new question.
Take a different route through science
The four related puzzles carry the search into science and everyday problem solving. Chemical Elements keeps the hidden-list challenge with a new vocabulary family. For background, the Wolfram MathWorld geometry entry provides a starting point for exploring geometry topics; reading it is optional and no mathematical definition is needed to select a target correctly.
